lyrics

Here are the lyrics to all burdens.

Cloudy eyes look for an instance
Of spring and summertime,
Drawn to fragments of light,
Slowly shifting neath my window blinds,
Barely out from under
I hear a Robin sing
Or could that be a starling,
Like belfry chime warning me.

All burdens be gone
Living out life’s autumn
Baring light these final years,
Absolving all the problems,
Sweet revery in slumber,
Within the arms of
Love.

Darkness came on a Sunday,
At winter’s pall
Losing light post harvest
Meek bounty for the first snow fall
Slipping deeper in slumber
A weakened heart beat stalls
Begins to turn to marble
Like freeze on a temple wall
